I only found out about this artist – CJ Hendry – from my forever-Instagram pen pal. She creates these hyper-realistic, large-scale renderings of luxury objects (think high-end designer bags and expensive shoes) and spends an upward of 200 hours to complete a drawing. Her work can be seen on her website here: http://www.cjhendry.live/.
She had a one-time pop-up art exhibit in Greenpoint, Brooklyn at the Brooklyn Art Studios called House of Color: MONOCHROME. For four days only, viewers can see this seven-room monochromatic exhibit (you were only allowed two minutes in each room). A friend and I went early in the morning, about 15 minutes before the studio opened and we still ended up waiting three hours in line!
There was an order to how we were to navigate from room to room:
BLUE LIVING ROOM:

RED DINING ROOM:
GREEN KITCHEN:

YELLOW BEDROOM:

PURPLE BATHROOM:
PINK PLAYROOM:

ORANGE HOME OFFICE:
Conclusion: Totally worth the wait!
