A Week in the Netherlands

After spending Konigsdag in Amsterdam (you can read all about that particular adventure here), I went on a brief trip to Belgium and came back to spend the rest of my stay in the Netherlands. My last day trip in Belgium before heading back to Amsterdam was spent visiting Ghent and Bruges. Most people tend to visit only Bruges but I figured I could squeeze in another town to enjoy with Bruges. Leuven and Mechelen

Leuven and Mechelen

Leuven is a Flemish university town not too far outside of Brussels. After receiving extremely precise directions from a kind man who saw me wandering around lost, I reached the University Library and Bell Tower of Leuven.
