I started my day pretty early for one main reason: The Serres Royales De Laeken (Royal Greenhouse). The Royal Greenhouse in the park of the Royal Castle of Laeken is special because it is only open 3 weeks out of the year in the spring! After I checked into my Airbnb (the host let me drop my things off early), I took the bus to a really cute brunch place called Chez Franz. Breakfast is served until 11am and you can either order the petit déjeuner (€7), which comes with a pastry or bread with several options (Liège syrup is best) and orange juice and coffee or just the bread with Liège syrup (€3). I took the early morning train from the Amsterdam train station to Brussels. It was an express train with a direct route so it was a pretty easy and relaxing ride!
