I actually noticed this café while I was walking over to brunch in Alphabet City. Saltwater Coffee is an Australian coffee shop with very interesting latte combinations! They have turmeric lattes (also called golden lattes) as well as various charcoal lattes, such as vanilla or chai.

One of the great things about this shop is that they have a variety of milks for those who are vegan or lactose intolerant. I have a friend who is allergic to dairy and she was able to get a turmeric latte with oat milk! Continue reading “Saltwater Coffee” →

An off-shoot of Dominique Ansel Bakery, Dominique Ansel Kitchen is a fusion of a “retail bakery with a restaurant service kitchen”. They have a lot more interesting pastries and desserts (they are honestly much fancier) and tend to have a lot of last-minute specials that create a more exciting experience. There is a pop-up in SoHo called Kay’s Boutique Café where they only make French toast sticks and drinks! It’s based out of Bangkok and they are currently in NYC for three months.
