My trip to Holland was slowly nearing its end and so I made one last stop before spending the rest of the afternoon and evening in Amsterdam. I had another dear friend who had also visited Holland before my trip and she had recommended this really cute windmill village called Zaanse Schans. This quaint neighborhood has a collection of well-preserved historic windmills and houses and each of the windmills even have names! A Week in the Netherlands

After spending Konigsdag in Amsterdam (you can read all about that particular adventure here), I went on a brief trip to Belgium and came back to spend the rest of my stay in the Netherlands.
